YA House (pronounced “wai-ay house”) is a private house stay in Hamano, Chiba City, operated under a hotel business license by Y&A Shoji LLC, a Japanese cleaning company based in Inzai, Chiba — the name comes from the company’s initials, Y&A. The house is a 9-minute walk from JR Hamano Station, with rail access to Makuhari Messe, Soga Sports Park, Chiba Station and Chiba Minato. It is designed for guests who want more space than a hotel room, a kitchen and laundry for a self-catering stay, and a calm local base outside central Tokyo — from families with children (there is a kids' room) to exhibitor teams staying through a Makuhari Messe trade show.

Can I contact you in English? Do you speak English on the phone?
By message, yes — by phone, no. Written enquiries sent through the form on this page or by email to y.asyouji333@gmail.com are translated on our side and answered in English. Our phone line, however, is answered in Japanese only, so we cannot hold a conversation in English by telephone. Please send us a message instead — it is the reliable way to reach us, and you will get a written reply you can read at your own pace.
How is “YA House” pronounced, and who runs it?

Is YA House suitable for guests from Europe?

How do I get to Makuhari Messe?
Walk to JR Hamano Station, then travel by train to Kaihin-Makuhari Station. The approximate train time from Hamano is 17-30 minutes depending on the route and time of day.
Can we stay with children? Is there a kids' room?
Yes. There is a kids' room, and because you rent the whole house there are no other guests to disturb. A game console and TV keep children entertained, the kitchen lets you prepare meals they like, and the washing machine handles the day's laundry.
Can companies use YA House as a base for trade-show exhibitions?
Yes. The whole house sleeps up to 8 guests, and with a 2-night minimum it works well for stays from set-up day through the show period. Makuhari Messe is about 17-30 minutes away by train. Payment is by advance Square credit card payment or bank transfer, and the living-room table and Wi-Fi are handy for evening team meetings.
Is it good for longer stays?
Yes. The kitchen, washing machine and whole-house layout make YA House practical for longer stays, families and groups.
Can I cook?
Yes. A kitchen, cooking tools, rice cooker and microwave are available, and you are welcome to bring your own ingredients. A 7-Eleven convenience store is about a 1-minute walk away, the Belc supermarket (open until midnight) is about 10 minutes on foot, and Don Quijote Hamano is about a 15-minute walk or 4 minutes by car — handy for stocking up on longer stays. Please follow the house rules provided before arrival.
Is there parking?
Yes. There is one free covered parking space beside the building. The roof slopes, so vehicles must be no taller than 1.7 m (the lowest point is about 1.6 m). For a taller vehicle or a second car, nearby coin parking is available; we will share locations and approximate fees when your stay is confirmed.
How do I book?
Send us a message with your dates and number of guests — use the form on this page or email y.asyouji333@gmail.com. We reply in English. (Our phone line is answered in Japanese only, so please write to us rather than calling.) Stays are available for a minimum of two nights.
How is the rate calculated?
You book the whole house. The rate is the same for up to 4 guests, and from the 5th guest we add ¥2,000 per guest per night. Minimum stay is 2 nights. Rates vary by season, so the figures on this page are estimates — we confirm the exact total when you enquire.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is at 15:00 and check-out is at 10:00. The detailed entry instructions are sent after the reservation is confirmed.
How can I pay?
After availability and booking details are confirmed, we will send instructions for advance payment by Square credit card payment or bank transfer. If payment cannot be confirmed by the stated deadline, the reservation is cancelled.
Are pets or smoking allowed?
No. Pets are not allowed at YA House, and smoking is not permitted.
How are children charged?
Children are charged at the adult rate, except children aged 2 or under, who stay free. Please include all guests when you enquire.
Can I arrive early or leave late?
Early check-in and late check-out are generally not available. If you have unavoidable circumstances, please ask before booking; any exception depends on the situation, and any applicable charge must be confirmed individually.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellation is free up to 4 days before arrival. The charge is 25% at 3 days before, 50% at 2 days before, 75% on the day before, and 100% on the arrival day or for a no-show. Individual refund decisions are confirmed by the operator. See the published cancellation policy.
